926,086. Photographic production of indiciabearing panels. E. A. NEUGASS. March 8, 1960 [May 29, 1959], No. 8090/60. Drawings to Specification. Class 98 (2). A base as of plastic or metal is provided after sandblasting if desired with a coating as of paint which is air dried and cleaned with a detergent such as sodium hypochlorite solution, then provided with a light-sensitive layer for which a proprietary acrylic-urea resin is quoted, exposed under a transparent member having indicia to be reproduced, washed with water or developer to remove unexposed parts of the layer, treated as with paint remover to remove the corresponding parts of the coating, and finally washed as with detergent to remove exposed parts of the layer. The coating provided may be in the form of black paint which is baked, and then overcoated with white paint which is not baked. Plastics for the base and some solvents for the processing procedure are quoted.
