Abstract

925,851. Handles for baskets &c. HAMPTON WORKS (STAMPINGS) Ltd. July 21, 1959 [July 21, 1958], No. 23382/58. Classes 18 and 133. The free ends 6 of each arm 4 of a tinplate handle for a strip are provided with projections 8 which are driven into and secured to the corresponding cardboard skip side wall 9 after the ends 6 are passed through slots 10 and bent back upon sides. In a modification, Fig. 4, each end 6 is provided instead with an integral T-shape tongue 11 and each arm 4 with a slot 12, the end being passed through a slot in the side and folded back, then the tongue 11 is passed over the upper edge of the side arid through the slot 12 whereafter it is bent down so that its stem 11a is firmly located in slot recess 12a.
