Abstract

An ink, for use on a typewriter ribbon, (see Group VIII), comprises carnauba wax, beeswax, lanolin, heavy mineral oil, methyl violet base, dye-toned carbon black and lecithin, and is applied molten.ALSO:Anti-static coating compositions, applied to typewriter ribbons (see Group VIII), comprise a solid glycol, stearamidopropyldimethyl-betahydroxyethyl-ammonium nitrate, sodium dioctyl sulphosuccinate, anhydrous denatured alcohol, and optionally water. Specified glycols are those having the trade names Carbowax 4000 and 20M.
