921,832. Filters. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Sept. 12, 1961 [Sept. 16, 1960], No. 32039/60. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XL (c)] A low-pass filter having the configuration shown has shunt capacitative arms, the ratio of the capacitances 13, 14 being one to three, whereby an insertion loss of less than 0.5 db. may be achieved. The filter is used for the translation of positive and negative pulses and is connected between a low impedance transistor source and a high impedance transistor amplifier. In another form of the filter, the capacitances 13, 14 are interchanged and the series impedance 11 (which may be a resistance) is placed across the output terminals. In this case, a constant-current driving source is used.
