A suspension filing system wherein folders are connected in concertina fashion by folding over the upper edges 4 of adjacent folders 1, one within the other, and suspending them from a support rail 5 having a re-entrant portion 6, is characterized in that the corners of the pockets are cut away to form inclined edges 2 and the upper edges folded over about a line 3 extending between points positioned intermediate the ends of the inclined edges 2. The upper corners of the re-entrant portion 6 may be rounded off.
