Abstract

A fungicidal composition comprises as active ingredient an aliphatic amino acid derivative of the general formula <FORM:0918365/VI/1> in which R1 stands for an hydroxyl-group, a salt thereof, an alkyl ester group containing up to 4 C atoms or a <FORM:0918365/VI/2> group, wherein R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing up to 4 carbon atoms and R5 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing up to 4 C atoms, a phenyl group, a chlorophenyl group or a cyclo or hexyl group, and in which R2 stands for a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing 1-4 C atoms, R3 stands for an aliphatic radical containing between 9 and 18 carbon atoms and n stands for 1 or 2 together with a solid carrier or water containing an emulsifier. Specified active ingredients are N-decylglycine, N-dodecyl - glycine, N - pentadecyl - glycine, 3-(N - dodecylamino) - propionic acid, N - decylglycine zinc sulphate, N - dodecyl - glycine nickel sulphate, N - pentadecyl - glycine copper sulphate, N - dodecyl - glycine zinc sulphate, N - decyl - glycine copper nitrate, N - decyl - glycine ferric sulphate, N - dodecyl-glycine manganese sulphate, N-pentadecyl-glycine zinc chloride, N - dodecyl - glycine methyl ester, N - dodecyl - glycine ethyl ester, N - dodecyl - glycine propyl ester, N - dodecyl-glycine chloroethyl ester, N - dodecyl - glycine hydroxy - ethyl ester, 3 - (N - dodecyl-amino)-propionamide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino) - N1-methylpropionamide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino)-N1, N1 - dimethylpropionamide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino) - N1, N1 - diethyl - propionamide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino) - N1, N1 - dibutyl propionamide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino) - propionanilide, 3 - (N - dodecyl - amino) - propion - p-chloranilide, 3 - (N - dodecyl-amino) - N1-methyl propionanilide, 3 - (N - dodecyl-amino) - N1 - cyclohexylpropionamide, 3 - (N-methyl - N - dodecyl) - N1 - cyclohexylpropionamide and 3 - (N - ethyl - N - dodecyl) - N1-cyclohexyl-propionamide.
