Abstract

Pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory compositions comprise 18-a - and 18-b -glycyrrhetinic acids preferably in a weight ratio of from 5 : 1 to 1 : 10 and desirably from 1 : 1 to 1 : 7. The compositions may be in conventional forms e.g. ointments, powders, emulsions, tablets, suppositories and injectable preparations e.g. solutions and suspensions. Specifications 798,655 and 887,012 are referred to.
