Abstract

916,902. Stripping moulded articles from formers. LONDON RUBBER CO. Ltd. Aug. 21, 1961 [Aug. 23, 1960], No. 29143/60. Class 87(2). Hollow flexible articles e.g. rubber gloves are stripped from formers 21 on which they are moulded by a dipping process, by engaging pads 22 against the upper end of the articles, sliding them down the former to form a rolledover end which fits over fingers 38. The pads 22 then are moved outwardly and fingers 42 are rotated to grip the rolled-over end between themselves and the fingers 38, these are then lowered and the article is stripped off the former 21 and turned inside out. Specification 911,654 is referred to.
