915,549. Reversible windows. GIBBONS Ltd., JAMES. April 23, 1959 [May 1,1958], No. 13884/58. Class 20 (3). In a reversible centre-hung window &c. comprising a frame 2 pivoted on an axis offset from the fixed frame 1 and both frames made of bars which are basically of channel cross-section, so that when the window is closed the bars of the two frames form conjointly a box cross-section, the basic channel-section flanges of the fixed frame 1 are in the same plane on both sides of the pivot 4, Fig. 8, and a change-over in overlapping of the fixed and pivoted frames from one side to the other of the fixed frame, in passing the pivotal axis is due to transposition, in the cross-section of the bars, from one frame to the other of additional flange parts 2‹, 2<SP>i</SP>, Fig. 4, 1<SP>i</SP>, Fig. 5, parallel to and overlapping the channel-section flanges.
