913,271. Tie retainers. KOBY, W. A. Aug. 4, 1961 [Aug. 19, 1960], No. 28784/60. Class 43. A tie retainer comprises a clip, a length of cord, tape 4 or the like attached to the clip to produce two free ends, and a cleat or pin 5 attached to each of the free ends, the cleats or pins are passed into or through the material of the front end 7 of the necktie to form a loop through which the rear end 8 of the necktie can pass, the clip being attached to one edge of the skirt front. The clip comprises a discshaped portion 10, integral with or secured to a resilient finger 6.
