Abstract
912,113. Electroplating drums. CALASIT A.G. Sept. 11, 1961 [April 14, 1961], No. 32506/61. Class 41. A rotary drum for electroplating small metal parts comprises a plurality of flat strips 1, eyeletted at each end (2 and 3) which are threaded on rods 4 between end-pieces 5 and 6. The construction gives slotted walls which permit easy circulation of the electrolyte. An opening is left for charging and discharging the articles and this has a removable cover 7 which may be hinged. The rods 4 may be threaded alternately with strips and spacers to increase the size of the gaps and the strips may carry projections at their mid-points to enhance the circulation of the objects being treated.
