Abstract

911,898. Slide rules. LAI KING-YAN. Sept. 19, 1961 [Sept. 19, 1960], No. 32173/60. Class 106 (1). A slide rule has a stock 10 formed as a shaped sheet having a central channel 13 and a pair of side strips which extend outwardly from the top of the channel walls and which are reflex to define a pair of slots 15. The slide 11 is also formed as a shaped sheet having a pair of side strips 16, which are arranged to be received by the slots 15, and a raised central slip 17 which presents a surface substantially flush with the top surface of the side strips of the stock. A transparent cursor 12 with end portions 19 and a finger stop 20, and the normal A, B, C and D scales are provided.
