Abstract

A heat transfer medium comprises mixtures of a tetraphenyl silicate with a condensed aryl silicate obtained by the controlled hydrolysis of a tetraaryl o-silicate, by the transesterification thereof with a condensed alkyl silicate, or by the thermal decomposition of any aryl o-silicate.
