Abstract

Natural tobacco leaf, which may be shredded, has an additive other than tobacco or tobacco extract applied thereto as a powder of less than 76 microns size in apparatus somewhat like that of Specification 867,826, the additive replacing the tobacco-based additive of that Specification. The additive may be combined with powdered tobacco and/or sticky tobacco extracts. Existing methods of adding various specified substances to tobacco are also described. Specifications 817,832 and 827,011 also are referred to.
