The individual cells of an accumulator are connected by clamping bus-bars 4 broadside on to rectangular terminal posts 3, the screws used for clamping not passing through, and thus weakening the post. Several bars may be used in parallel, spacing members 9 being included to allow for circulation of cooling air.
