Abstract

907,339. Soot door units. TRUE FLUE Ltd. July 12, 1961 [Aug. 2, 1960], No. 26733/60. Class 25. A soot door unit comprises a frame 10 and a door 11, both made of refractory concrete, the door being introduced into an aperture in the frame, secured in position by turning, and released by turning in the opposite direction. Peripheral lugs 13 on the door engage slots 14 in the frame and are held by protrusions 15 running a proportion of the length of the slots 14. The frame 10 has edge grooves 12 and conforms to standard brick sizes, and the door has a flush handle 19.
