Abstract

906,738. Agricultural implements &c. ANDERSON, K. O. June 23, 1960 [June 26, 1959], No. 22050/60. Class 6(1). A harrow tooth for the dispensing of liquid ammonia into the soil comprises a body 7 on which is mounted a tube 13 for conducting the ammonia to the soil and a front bar 8 which is longitudinally adjustable on the body 7 and is held in place by a screw 14 in a clamping body 6, the bar 8 being located in position by means of a guiding sheath 15. As shown the bar 8 is of triangular section. In a modification the body 7 is formed with a triangular groove and the bar 8 is of rectangular cross-section with one of its corners located at the bottom of the groove.
