[Also in Group XXXI] In an arrangement for adjustably mounting a seat relative to a supporting framework 1, a downwardly directed bracket 21 is connected to each side of the front portion of the seat, the lower end of each bracket 21 being adapted for releasable connection to the framework 1 in two or more positions, said lower ends also being separately adjustable relative to the framework 1 towards and away from the back 16 of the seat and support means 19 on the supporting framework 1 upon which the rear of the seat is carried, the support means 19 having a plurality of positions in which the seat may be locked. As shown in Fig. 1, a seat 13 comprising a tubular frame 14 and a one-piece seat member 15 is mounted on a tubular chassis 1 by means of a bolt 18 which passes through the frame 14 and through one of a number of holes 20 in an angle bracket 19 welded to the chassis frame 1. A depending bracket 21 having a plurality of holes 22 is secured on each side of the front of the seat 13. The bracket 21 may be pivotally connected to the seat frame 14. An angle bracket 23 having a plurality of holes 24 is mounted on each side of the chassis frame 1. By selecting the appropriate aperture 22 on the bracket 21 and aligning it with any selected aperture 24 in the bracket 23, the height and inclination of the seat 13 may be adjusted as well as its distance from the steering wheel 8.
