Abstract

905,033. Regulating switches. VAKUTRONIK VEB. Dec. 9, 1958 [Sept. 15, 1958], No. 39673/58. Class 38 (5). An electric switch has a series of contacts mounted on an earthed guard ring which is arranged to rotate and bring the relevant contact into engagement with a fixed contact. The guard ring 16 is mounted on a spindle 8 which also carries resistor &c. 18 secured between the ring and a further rotating member 6 which is at the earthing end. The fixed contact 2 is arranged so that the rotating assembly may be moved axially into contact with it, being induced by pin 9 and gate 10. A dessicant cartridge 11 keeps the switch dry.
