Abstract
903,212. Roof lights. WEIDNER, E. I. March 9, 1960, No. 8239/60. Addition to 829,442. Class 20 (3). In the domed or dished roof light described in the parent Specification the peripheral or surrounding flange comprises walls or shells 12, 13 spaced apart to provide a sealed cavity between them. As shown, the walls are integral with extensions of the inner and outer shells 10, 11 of the light. The shells 12, 13 are spaced apart at intervals by washers 16 to take the bolts &c. for securing the light to an upstand 18. This latter comprises a body part of resin or fibre glass bonded with a polyester resin with a flange 21 for mounting the light thereon and an outer layer 19 of heat insulating material, e.g. of cork, covered by a layer 20 of waterproofing material.
