900,864. Insulators. ETABLISSEMENTS MERLIN & GERIN S.A. May 19, 1960 [June 5, 1959], No. 17651/60. Class 36. A post insulator comprises a long stem carrying skirts 11, whose shape is symmetrical with respect to one plane only passing through the longitudinal axis of the insulator. The skirts may be aligned with their axes of symmetry parallel or all angularly displaced, and may be fixed to the stem with a thermosetting glue. They may be concave upwards and have a semicircular rib to facilitate drainage.
