894,367. Window channels. BRIGHT, T. J. R. Oct. 2, 1959, No. 33539/59. Class 20(3) A channel-shaped window guide 1 is lined with fabric and is secured by pressed-out tongs 3 in a metal support 2. The longitudinal edges of the guide are bent outwardly and downwardly to enclose the edges of the support and secure the lining in position. The guide may be made in metal (as shown), rubber or plastic and different arrangements for securing together the guide and support member and anchoring the fabric are described (Figs. 2-5, not shown). Where the guide is made in metal it may be slotted transversely so that it may be easily bent.
