Abstract

According to the Provisional Specification building components, fittings and accessories, e.g. baths and basins, are made by forming a hollow moulded unit from sythetic plastic material and filling the hollow portion or portions with a foamed plastic substance of a character such that it will integrate with the moulded unit to form a homogeneous body. A bath is formed by moulding the bath itself and its supporting side and end walls from a single piece of synthetic plastic material and the space between the bath and its side and end walls and the space beneath the bath filled with the foamed plastic filler.
