Class 52(3) A convertible table consists of a base 10 and a top 16. having respectively a central transverse pedestal 14 and column 17 of elongated rectangular cross-section and interfitting telescopically. By complete separation, two T-shaped leg-rests are provided, each having a carrying hand-hold 15 or 20. By inserting a pin 19 in holes 18 in the pedestal and column, the parts can be held assembled either as a high table or as a low one. When in the former state, an inverted tray 21 can be fitted at one end over the top 16 so as to extend over a bed and is held in position by pins 24 and links 26.
