888,636. Making heat-exchangers; cupping. ROSENBLADS PATENTER AB. March 8, 1960 [March 10, 1959], No. 8085/60. Classes 83 (2) and 83 (4). [Also in Group XIII] For producing dimpled plates 1, Fig. 11, for stacking together to form a heat-exchanger (see Group XIII), two platens 4a, 4b with pins 5a, 5b (which may be moved into different holes in the platens to form different patterns of protuberances) are pressed together with a flat plate 6 between. The protuberances thus formed have flat tops. The pins may be conical, Fig. 13 (not shown), and there may be a number of holes in the platens to receive the pins so that their distribution may be modified.
