888,183. Photo-electric control of photographic colour printing. KODAK Ltd. April 11, 1958 [April 12, 1957], No. 11521/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 40(3). [Also in Group XX] In a method of photographically printing on to a multi-colour sensitive material, the printing light beam is of white light from which light within the yellow and/or between the blue and green regions of the spectrum has been removed by the insertion into the beam of a filter comprising alternate coatings of zinc sulphide and magnesiumfluoride. Alternatively two dichroic filters may be used in series, one absorbing the yellow and the other the blue-green radiation coated to a thickness which gives second order peak reflections. The printing- colours are cut out by colour filters operated by photo-electric cells when the correct exposure of each colour has been reached.
