Abstract

Silicone-based inks are used with other inks having bases such as oils or waxes with which they immiscible to form multi-coloured ribbons. In the examples of inks given silicone fluid M.S. 200 of different viscosities provides the base or vehicle for colouring agents with if desired toners.
