Classes 11 and 146(1) A sheet for a photographic album has a plurality of spaced parallel slits therein, extending over the major portion of the width of the sheet and terminating short of the outer side edge thereof to leave a continuous marginal portion, said slits dividing the sheet into a plurality of transversely extending panels, and a transparent sleeve encircling each of the panels to provide pockets into which photographs may be inserted. The sheet 10 of fibrous paper material has slits 15, 16 cut therein to divide the sheet into panels 10a, 10b, 10c, and transparent sheets of cellulose acetate are passed through the slits and joined to form three separate sleeves 21, 22, 23 encircling the panels. U-sectioned binding strips 17, 20 are adhesively secured along the side edges of the sheet, staples 18, 19 being attached to the binding strip 17 to provide means for removably securing the sheet in an album by means of plastic straps. In an alternative arrangement, the slits 15, 16 extend right up to the side edge 13 of the sheet, and preformed transparent sleeves inserted over the panels so formed. The edges of the sleeves overlying the side edge 13 are scalloped so that the binding strip 17 adheres to both the sleeves and the sheet, Fig. 3 (not shown).
