[Also in Group XXXVI] A channel member which extends throughout the length of a composite office desk is provided externally with adjustable desk feet and carries internally electric cables from telephones and electrical typewriters arranged on the desk. As shown, the desk is formed in sections 4a and these are joined by means of angle plates 7 welded to an open-sided channel member 6. Lock-nuts 13 secure feet 11 at the required height. Work tables having fixed legs, branch off the main desk.
