Abstract

Corrugations may be formed on a glass or synthetic resin body, e.g. the frame carrier of an albada type photographic view finder, by roughening a surface thereof, as by sandblasting or grinding, and then smoothing it again by coating with a lacquer (for example epoxide resin diluted with acetone). The wave length of the corrugations is 1/10 to 1/2 of the frame thickness while being 5-50 times greater than the wave length of the yellow helium line. The height of the corrugations is between 1/10 and 1/4 of their wave length.
