[Also in Groups XXXIV and XXXVI] A modification of the electric maximum demand meter described and claimed in the parent Specification in which bearing inserts 6, 7 of a resiliency deformable plastic or other resiliently deformable material are mounted in plates 4, 5 to support the ends of the indicator spindle 8. Nylon impregnated with molybdenum disulphide is referred to as a suitable material. The plates may, alternatively, be wholly formed of such material.
