Abstract

874,658. Sun visors for vehicles. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. Sept. 19, 1958 [Sept. 23, 1957], No. 29838/57. Class 103(2). As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 a sun visor, curved to match a convex windscreen 2, comprises two sheets 6, 8 of material tinted progressively towards the upper edges and mounted in a metal rim 10, the visor being provided with a central slot 20 slidable on a clamping bolt 18 secured above the windscreen and the shorter sides of the visor serving as tracks engageable with rollers 14, 16 carried by the sides of the windscreen and rollers 13 carried by the vehicle roof 4. Rollers may be provided on the visor to engage tracks on the sides of the windscreen.
