Abstract

872,417. Transmission line switches. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. March 25, 1959 [March 31, 1958], No. 10321/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 40(8) [Also in Group XL(a)] A switching system comprises four coaxial lines the inner conductors of which are connected to anodes of a discharge tube, the outer conductors being joined to a common thermionic cathode. The discharge tube is as in Specification 872,418, and is so designed that the outer conductors of any one coaxial line may be connected by means of a discharge to any one of the inner conductors of the coaxial line.
