Abstract

866,114. Electric selective signalling systems. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Oct. 4, 1957 [Oct. 5, 1956], No. 30496/56. Class 40 (1). As described, left or right pulses are produced at terminals L and R, Fig. 1, each corresponding to an increment of motion of a table 10. Movement of the table by a main driving motor 11 causes a member 20 to be displaced from its normal position with respect to an E-type transformer 15 which via a discriminator 16 and an amplifier 17 produces an error signal to cause a motor 14 to return the member 20 to its normal position. The motor 14 also drives a dynamoelectric pulse generator 13 which, via a circuit 18 (as described in Specification 866,105, which is referred to) produces pulses on terminals L or R.
