Abstract

863,929. Stands; furniture joints. JOSEPHSON, G. May 25, 1959, No. 17806/59. Classes 52(2) and 52(3). A table centrepiece comprises two flat members 1, 5 which are crossed and detachably connected by being half-cut at 2, 6 respectively, the members being held in the correct angular relationship by the edges of the slot in each member engaging ribs 3, 8 formed on the other member. The ends of one or each member may carry a candleholder 11, ash-tray or dish. A socket 13 has slots 15 so that it can be mounted on the members 1, 5 where they intersect and also has a candle-holder 22 &c.
