Class 34(2) A method of drying and hardening concrete articles consists in treating the articles in a closed space with steam at super-atmospheric pressure, draining off the condensed liquid, progressively reducing the steam pressure and finally evacuating the closed space to sub-atmospheric pressure. An additional treatment with gaseous silicon tetrafluoride may also be effected.
