Abstract

859,964. Plant pots. PEARCE-SMITH, E. F. June 4, 1959 [June 11, 1958], No. 18673/58. Class 6(2). A plant pot 1 of a synthetic, thermoplastc material is formed in its base with drainage holes or slots 7, and is provided on the outer surface of its base with protruberances 9 for raising the base clear of the supporting surface and thereby facilitating the efficient drainage of water through the holes or slots 7. The pot is also formed near its rim 4 with a protruding band 5 to enable a number of such pots to be stacked one inside another.
