859,541. Guiding lawnmowers. WILLIAMS, M. G. Oct. 30, 1959, No. 36901/59. Class 6(1). Apparatus for guiding a motor mower comprises a grooved wheel 29 in the groove of which is mounted a turn of a length of anchored wire 25, the wheel being provided with a lever 31 attached to a lawnmower so that as the lawnmower moves in a circular path the lever rotates the wheel so that it is moved along the wire the mower thus cutting in a series of overlapping circles. A counterweight 39 being provided to retain the wheel in position on the wire.
