Abstract
A solution of rhodium perchlorate is prepared by dissolving freshly precipitated and well washed rhodium hydroxide in a mixture of perchloric acid, nitric acid, and water, evaporating to low bulk, adding further perchloric acid, and again evaporating until dense fumes are evolved, while avoiding a rise in temperature above 140 DEG C.
