<FORM:0855482/III/1> <FORM:0855482/III/2> An arrangement for the titration of flowing liquids comprises a titration flask 2 with a stirring device 3, a burette 5 for a standard liquid, and a controlling valve 6 comprising a piston moving inside a cylinder where both the piston and the cylinder are provided with matching consecutive bores distributed on different planes for the standard liquid, for leading to conduits for the emptying of the solution left in the flask after the titration, for the rinsing liquid and for refilling the burette. The control valve 6 (Fig. 2) is a plunger valve with a brake 13. Pipe 24 leads from reservoir 4 through valve to pipe 25 and burette 5 pipe 26 is connectable to pipe 25. First drain pipe is connectable to flush 2 and to the second drain pipe 28. Rinsing line 29 is connectable with pipe 30. The controlling piston is provided with guiding parts (not shown) which move in guiding grooves in the cylinder, so that the controlling piston undergoes a rotatory movement as well as an axial movement, and are preferably so arranged that in a first direction the controlling piston carries out only a longitudinal movement, and in the return direction a rotary movement of 180 degrees. The controlling piston is fitted with a pressure spring, which, after the advance of the piston, automatically pushes it back into the starting position, and the pressure spring may be regulated in timing by means of a pneumatic or hydraulic delaying device.
