Abstract

Kiln furniture, e.g. hangers used in enamelling furnaces, is made of nickel-chromium alloy, stainless steel and plain carbon steel which has been provided with a chromium-enriched surface. The latter may be produced by one of the processes described in Specifications 572,703, 574,737, 575,676, 577,504, 586,241, 586,376 and 646,637.
