The azo dye of the formula: <FORM:0853922/IV (c)/1> prepared as described in the parent Specification, is treated with p-nitrobenzoyl chloride, 3; 5-dinitrobenzoyl chloride or pcyanobenzoyl chloride whereby the phenolic hydroxyl group is esterified.
