Abstract

853,840. Egg toppers. HEDOUIN, M. A. M. Aug. 19, 1959 [June 15, 1959], No. 28284/59. Class 28 (2) An egg placed in a frusto conical support 7 is topped by hand rotating a cap 16 lowered on the egg until an attached annular saw contacts and cuts off the top. The cap contains an annular guide 11 which has tabs 12 fitting into slots 13 in the cover 10 to form a bayonet joint with the upper part 1 of the body which slides down on the tubular part 3 of the attached stand 4. The cap carries peg 18 fitting into holes 19 in the saw 15. The cover 10 with its cap 16 are pivoted at 9 to.open up to allow the egg to be placed inside. For smaller eggs a lower frusto cone 8 is provided.
