Class 20(3) [Also in Group XIII] The re-entrant side wall of the resiliant gasket of the parent Specification is provided with an external reinforcing strip 23. Preferably the strip 23 is readily detached from the gasket by tearing and is removed before or after installation of the gasket. Where there are more than one re-entrant portions of the side wall a strip is provided for each portion.
