Abstract

851,869. Electrically heated radiators. HURSEAL Ltd., and HAZEL, A. C. Feb. 25, 1959 [March 12, 1958], No. 7923/58. Class 39(3). [Also in Group XIV] A heating device comprises an upstanding radiator constituted by two metal plates 10 and 11 defining a liquid containing space 12 provided with an electric heating element 26 extending from one lower corner partly along the length of the radiator and connected to a terminal base and thermostat 28 which in turn is connected to a supply conductor 29. Welded to the top corners of the radiator and in communication with the liquid space 12 are the two vertical limbs 21, 22 of a U-shaped tube having a horizontal limb 20 serving as a towel rail. At least one additional horizontal tube such as 24 or 25 may also be connected in the liquid circuit across the limbs 21, 22.
