Class 52(4) A mattress handle has mounting frames 4, at the ends of a polyethylene grasping bar 3, through which pass grommets 5 which are flared outwardly to provide a flange 8 carrying a ventilating cap 9, the inner portions of frames 4 having spaced concentric flanges 11, 11a forming a channel 12 into which the mattress wall 2 can expand when compressed between flange I and a washer 13 held in place by rolling over the edges of the grommets 5.
