Abstract

850,280. Portable platforms. WEISS, F. R. March 10, 1958 [Dec. 10, 1956], No. 37633/56. Class 132(1). A portable platform comprises a plurality of box like units each of whose height is a simple fraction of that of one main box like unit alongside which they may be built up to form a continuation of the same height, which units can be contained in throughways in the main unit resting on their sides. As shown, runners 16, 17 are provided in the bottom of the main unit 10 on which smaller units 18, 19 are slid into position through openings 14, 15 in the end 13 of unit 10. Further slightly shorter box like units 20, 21, 22 are provided such that unit 20 and one unit 22 fit into one box 18 and two units 21 and another unit 22 fit into the other box 18.
