848,903. Boxes, packages. COLTON, L. H. Oct. 16, 1956 [Oct. 21, 1955], No. 30072/55. Classes 18 and 94(1). Groups of knitting machine sinkers 8, 9 are located in upper and lower parts of a box by blocks 12, 13 of soft mouldable material such as gelatine or wax in which the blades are embedded in spaced relation. The blocks may be formed about the blades before or after insertion in the box, or formed in the box before the sinkers are inserted. The blocks may be engaged by serrated portions, Fig. 4 (not shown), on the box sides, and the sinker butts in one box part may be located by a member 6 or 7 on the other. The box may be transparent. Slots such as 16 in the box parts permit the sinkers to be dislodged by a pin or the like pushed therethrough.
