Abstract
848,659. Disintegrating apparatus. GLANZSTAFF-COURTAULDS G.m.b.H. June 8, 1959 [June 10, 1958], No. 19574/59. Class 59 Apparatus for tearing cellulose sheets 14 into pieces 15 comprises a container 1 having pairs of,rotatable intermeshing toothed rollers 3, 4 and 5, 6 the teeth of which intermesh with the teeth of combs 8, 9, 10 and 11. The teeth of the rollers 3, 5 are pointed and the teeth of the rollers 4, 6 blunt. The rollers 3, 4 are rotatable in the opposite direction from the rollers 5, 6; alternatively, the rollers may all be rotatable in the same direction.
