847,954. Loud-speakers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Sept. 30, 1958 [Sept. 30, 1957], No. 30547/57. Class 40 (4). [Also in Group XXXVIII] A loud-speaker cabinet of the enclosed or bass-reflex type has its lateral walls 1 made largely of a single piece of sheet metal. The loud-speaker 6 is secured to a piece of wood 2 and the ends 3 and 4 are also of wood. As shown, a chamber 8 leads to a port 7. The inside of the sheet metal is coated with a sound-absorbing substance and the cabinet is divided by sheets 10, 11 of sound-absorbing material.
